This is an experiment with cellualr automata, basically trying various set of rules and aiming for different growth patterns and visual qualities. The end result is a web-build on itch.io where the 3 different rules can be interacted with and seen in action.

MOSS

MOSS is a short interactive experience available on itch.io, where the player can control a group of spores. By moving the spores around the cityscape, the player can make the moss take over the buildings.

This is a project that combined my previous experiment on cellular automata with boids behavior to create a visually-intersting and playable experience.

Deep Sea Glow

Deep Sea Glow is a project that was created as a study of boids behavior and emergence. For this project, I experimented with coding the boids in order to imitate the flocking movement of different fish schools. The full video of the boids in action can be found on this page.

Data Visualization Project: Cancer

This is a data visualization project that uses the data of cancer and how common different types of cancer are. The image of the body can be interacted with by clicking, and once clicked, a particle effect will be activated. The color, size, and emission rate reflects how common each type of cancer are within different part of the body and organs.
